Introduction
EURO-2004 represents an important study, part of the 'Continuing Adult Education Program' presented by Soccer Academy of America for development of world of football. 'The specific references' are usually done through 'Technical Reports', through group Study': FIFA – for all World Cups, the Confederations - for Continental competitions and National FA-for each country. Those studies are done, particularly, for 'Evaluation' of the competitions which is the first part of the complete professional circle of activity (without diagnosis and the implementation strategies, as our study is presenting).
Our extensive study has 100 pages and is a non-traditional concept based on three dimensional systems:
1. 'Evaluating the Game, Teams and the Results', using a new professional tools, the profiles evaluating the game's factors in marks from 1-10 (Knowing that the science is applied in football when we are using numbers) .
2. Diagnosing the game's Essential Qualities, main Weaknesses and Latent Capacities, and
3. Plan-Programming: for the future 3 World Cups; Actual Juniors for – 2014 World Cup, actual Youth for - 2010 World Cups and actual Seniors for - 2006 World Cup.
Hypothesis
1. Studying the World Cup 2002 we find out important metamorphosis, establishing a new 'World Football Order' a new orientation and reorientation of the world of football and automatically, of world football practical activity. Interested to know if those aspects are really facts, we tried to make the same study for the Euro-2004 as we did for the 2002 World Cups and we will continuing to do the same for World Cup 2006, in 'a longitudinal study'.
2. Also, we wanted to find out why the National Teams as France, Argentina. Italy, Spain, Portugal etc. are getting out from the first and second round of the Man-World Cup 2002? In the same time, why some of the other national teams classified in the 2nd or/and 3rd performance categories before the World Cup 2002, played very well and qualified to the quarter-finals and semi-finals (as Turkey, Korea, USA etc.)? Is this phenomenon repeated at EURO, 2004? What about for the World Cup 2006?
3. In the same time, we want to verify a new technology and methodology (used in the last 14 years by the Soccer Academy of America as 'Learning from the Champion of Champions and implementing in own concept of performance'. This is the new Football Taxonomy for the next three world cups, a new 'Scientific Classification of any football concept of performance'. This methodology perfected can be a useful inspiration for all football organizations and associations, as well as for the professional football staff: Coaches, Players, Referees, Managers, Medical Staff, Football Media etc.
Subjects
- Euro-2004, is a competition organized for the 16 winners out of 51 national teams' countries from Europe after a preliminary qualification:
- 16 national teams X 22 = 352 professional players; 16 teams x 10-20 staff = 160-260 professional staff; referees, managers, organizers, media, observers, national FA leaders, and thousands supporters' transforming Euro-2004 in second major competitions after the World Cups-for seniors.
- Every team will play mandatory 3 games and if they are qualifying, for the 2nd, 3rd and the finals 4th rounds, will be a total of maximum 6 games, all played at 3 days distance.
Methods of research/study and the results
Step 1: We establish the methodology of the study: First, 'Evaluation': based on profiles composed by 10 game's factors, using a scale in marks from 1 to 10 (10 being maximum):

In the extensive study of Euro-2004. we recommended 'To Whom It May Concern' to compare those factors with their own teams and decide accordingly. This represent the most important segment of our study, responding to the question of 'what the organizations and professional staff can get from this study'?
1. 'In table 8 we are presenting a comprehensive table as New Taxonomy of Professional Football (a new classification, for entire professional coach's circle of activities.)
* Based on three dimensional systems: Playing, Training and Recovery connected with the main 10 components of any Concept of Performance:
1. Systems; 2. Components of the Systems: 3. Principles, 4. Methods, 5. Skills, 6. Effort Game's Zones, 7. Mental Strategies, 8. Sport Estate, 9. Team/starts and 10. Coach' Strategies.
2. As result of the study, we realized 'A Battery of 7 Professional Profiles': important professional educational tools:
1. Game's profile analysis with 10 factors; 2. Game's profile with 15 factors; 3. 2004-Winning Coach's Profile; 4. The Professional basic Coaches' Profile; 5. Referee's Profile; 6. Manager and Management profile and; 7. Recovery Strategies' Profile.
3. Also, we presented in the extensive material about 40 game's strategies, the most significant skills and strategies, Euro-2004 important for the players, coaches and teams, in their learning from the stars (see the extensive study).

Results, discussions and results' interpretations
1. The Soccer Academy of America's Continuing Education Program is presenting from all major international competitions a new Taxonomy (a new scientific football classification) by:
1.1. Continuing Education-Study for all Professional Football Staff, by:
Evaluating, Diagnosing and Plan-Programming all game's factors
1.2. Learning from the Champions: by analyzing and comparing with own activity and
1.3. Accepting that we have needs of perfection deciding the changes-and implementing the new Concept of Performance into own FA, Club, Teams, Players and Staff for the next 3 World Cups.
2. Euro-2004, has a Winning Formula for the Champion, expressed as:
2.1. A very simple, basic, common-sense of total Playing, Training & Recovery Systems
2.2. A total subordination of the star-players and all staff in an 'unwritten contract of partnership', in a new professional understanding of football by all interested factors and
2.3. Particularly, the need of a simple 'master-leader-model-man' –'The Coach' - with a 'simple magic common-sense of doing 'The right things, in the right time, with right people'. Most of the time, can be the single and unique opportunity for a Coach, Team and Players, countries, FA and all interested football factors! (That was happened with the first 4 Euro-2004 teams: Greece, Portugal, Czech and Netherlands and partial for other national teams.
3. The 2002 World Cup as well as the EURO-2004 demonstrated that Football Associations (Federations) with an 'Obsolete Performance Concept' are going down. For all of those national football associations there is a need of an 'OWN SOS PROGRAM of adjustment to the international football performance standards':
* At the World Cups 2002: France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Argentina - to name some of the major Latin Family Football Champions, were eliminated from the first and second rounds. It is interesting to mention that some of the countries even didn't qualify for the World Cup 2002: Holland, Romania, Czech Republic etc.
* In preparation for the Euro – 2004, and after the 1st and 2nd rounds, the same countries were eliminated. They presented an evident 'Obsolete Concept of Performance'
* Some of other countries after the World Cup 2002 made changes particularly in the 'attitude to play and win' and they played another football: Greece, Czech R., Holland, Portugal, England, Latvia and even Croatia, coming back on the elite football countries.
* On the other hand, there were teams without any changes and without chance to qualified for the 2002 World Cup and for the Euro 2004 .
4. As response to the study hypothesis, the World Football is without doubt a New International Social, Economic, Cultural & Sportive Professional Phenomenon:
4.1. The General Economical & Social Globalization as, 'European Community' given freedom and chance to play and coach professional football in any European country according to the level of individual value and the clubs' financial capacities.
4.2. Social & Business Football balance with New Globalization of Professional Staff Attitude created all around European 'a professionalism football without frontiers'
4.3. As result, 'The Professional weekly Show' Football becomes a social phenomenon, part of the new social, cultural and economic life development.
5. National football concept and the priorities:

The main question World Cup 2002 and Euro-2004 asked is 'What's the Future of the National teams-for seniors'?
There is not anymore a club-team composed only by own national star-players? This is why for many professional clubs (and now the same as for some of the Football Association) 'it's more convenient to buy stars players and star coaches, than to make them'! What about the National Teams? Simple! The same as for the Clubs. The FA starting naturalizing star players who are not playing in their country and easy to make them citizen! More than this, the process is perfecting and some of the countries are given citizenship to entire families for exceptional juniors and there is not any problem for anyone!? But the question remains. What will be the future of the National teams-seniors' competitions? We still don't know yet! We hope that 2006 World Cup will establish better the right direction.
6. Majority of the star players from: France, Italy, Spain, Germany played without energy, freshness and motivation to win, for World Cup 2002 as well as for the Euro-2004. With the same symptoms and characteristics:
The distance between the 2 official games is to short. After playing a season, 3 games/week, without having a period of vacation the national teams are playing World Cups and Confederation Cups (and for more of them, without enough motivation to pass over the tiredness and play for the National Teams). The super-star players are already millionair paid by the clubs, obligated to go back for the next season, recovered after last season's injuries, mentally and physically refreshed, ready for a new more difficult future winning season). At Euro-2004, there were teams starting bad and finished very bad (France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Bulgaria, etc), and another teams starting well and finishing bad (England, Croatia, Sweden, Denmark, etc.)
Our study find that the really factor of this situation is the Biological Aspects of the star-players who are playing 3 games/week, all year around, and some of them, non-stop for many years. So, There is not mater of patriotism, love for their own land and colors of the flags (as some of the nationalist mentioned as causes).
7. Football is in a permanent MUTATION – transformation, from World Cup 2002 to the Euro 2004 and in preparation for World Cup 2006 and 2010.
- Players from the National Teams concentrating to get a contract with one of the Professional Clubs: YES, They get the contract and playing only for the club & money!
- Coming back from the Professional Clubs to the National Teams: NO! It's not this wrong thing, in the wrong time and in the worng place?
This is the response to the question why the national super-stars from France, Italy, Spain, (particularly Latin Football Countries were not capable to motivate and play to win. Yes, there is a need of new motivational factors from the coaches and their teamwork. But, in the same time, there is a need of UEFA – for the European Championships and FIFA, for the World of Football, to accept the changes, which already are on the presidents' tables?
8. Football between business and professional development
Professional football is a business and will continue to dominate, through three ways:
1. Modifying the rules of the game and organize less games/week-year (which is very difficult to be done from many professional-technical and scientifically points of view – in one side and business points of view- in the other points of view.
2. Modifying the 'Genetic Code' for the generations to come: Growing new generations of players and coaches to accept deliberately to play more than 3 games/week, but the period of super-performances will be shorter in time (years).
3. Modify the technology of preparation and play and particularly, recovering with nutrition-sypliments which are against the ethic professional laws and particularly, against the players' health.
The modern professional football life is asking: 'You adapt to the new conditions or disappear from the world map of performance football'!
Despite of all those realities, we are convinced that with their motto:
9. The Winners have a Professional Concept of Performance: specifically priorities for kids, juniors and seniors:

* The 2002 World Cup and Euro-2004, as well other continental championships demonstrated that the Game is the most important aspect of winning on the international competitions.
* Reversing the common-sense of the Systems are sooner of later changing the future performances.
* Without doubt, the Game' science is the most important aspect the coaches need to concentrate. One of the ways is by' Comparing and Learning from the Champion of Champions', (as we are presetting in this material.)

Discussions and interpretation of the results
Soccer Academy of America has traveling around the world promoting a new Concept of Performance:
Abstract
The World Cups and Continental Competitions for football (in our study, European 2004 Championship) are making new orientations and reorientations of the national and clubs concepts of performance.
In this study a multi-disciplinary teamwork was developing a scientific activity:
Rezumat
Campionatele mondiale ca si cele continentale de fotbal (in studiul nostru Campionatul European 2004 de Fotbal pentru echipele nationale) cer, la fiecare 2 si 4 ani, o noua orientare si reorientare a conceptiilor privind performanta cluburilor si echipelor nationale. In acest sens, echipe multidisciplinare desfasoara o activitate stiintifica:
