Evaluarea capacitatii de performanta a voleibalistilor participanti la cm 2006 (Performance ability evaluation for the volleyball players attending the 2006 World Championship)

SERBAN Marcel Horatiu

Abstract

The study of FIVB match sheets from the World Volleyball Championships gives the possibility to create models of performance capacity of the players, required for the enhancement of selection and focus training.

The mathematical processing and interpretation of data gives solutions to enhance the already existing models, by resizing them to other value levels, updated, which will guide us to an objective methodology of shaping the given parameters, in correlation with future predictions.

Mathematically processed data has focused on biometrical characteristics: age, height, weight, upsurge jump, on the spot jump and efficiency indexes of game actions: serve, reception, set, attack, block, dig, game structures, evaluated on team and on the skill of each player.
